  • are contacted as part of a recruitment process;
  • are identified through sourcing tools.

3. Who is responsible for your data?

3.1 Candidates with an account

Clarentia acts as a data controller for managing your account and candidate profile, making your profile visible to recruiters on the platform, and platform security.

3.2 Recruitment processes

In the context of recruitment, the recruiter who published the offer or contacts you acts as the data controller; Clarentia acts as a data processor on its behalf.

4. What data is collected?

  • Identification data: first name, last name; email address, phone number; location; photo if you add one to your profile.
  • Professional data: CV/resume and cover letter; work experience; skills; education; languages; job preferences.
  • Evaluation data: matching score; assessment results; application status.
  • Conversational data: exchanges with recruiters; interactions with the AI agent; interview transcripts.
  • Technical data: IP address; connection logs; usage data.

5. How is your data collected?

Your data may be collected:

  • directly from you (account creation, application);
  • via a job board on which the offer was published: your application is then sent to Clarentia, which creates a candidate profile, stores your documents, extracts their information and calculates a match score with the offer;
  • via a recruiter (CV import or talent pool);
  • via sourcing tools using publicly available professional data. In such cases, you are informed at the time of first contact.

6. Purposes and legal bases

  • Account and profile management: contract performance (Candidate Terms)
  • Visibility of your profile to recruiters on the platform: contract performance (Candidate Terms, Section 3.2)
  • Matching and recommendations: legitimate interest
  • Security: legitimate interest

6.2 Recruitment processes

  • Evaluation and scoring of your application: recruiter's legitimate interest
  • Sourcing: recruiter's legitimate interest

7. Matching, scoring and profiling

Clarentia uses analytical systems to assess the alignment between a candidate profile and job opportunities. These analyses may consider your skills, experience, location, education level and job preferences.

These processes constitute decision-support tools. They do not result in fully automated hiring decisions. Human oversight is always maintained.

8. AI-powered interviews

Some recruitment processes include interviews conducted via a conversational agent. In this context, conversations may be recorded and transcribed, summaries may be generated and results may be shared with recruiters. You may refuse such interviews and ask the recruiter for an alternative assessment method.

9. Data recipients

  • If you have a candidate account and profile: your profile (full CV, contact details, scores and assessment results) is visible by default to recruiters from all Clarentia client companies, who may contact you.

  • Authorized Clarentia personnel.
  • Technical service providers necessary for platform operation.

Some service providers may be located outside the European Union. In such cases, transfers are safeguarded through appropriate mechanisms, including Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.
