Cookies Policy
Last updated: 27 September 2026
This policy explains which cookies and other trackers are used on the Clarentia website and platform (www.clarentia.com), what they are used for, and how you can make your choices.
1. Who is responsible?
Clarentia, a French simplified joint-stock company (SAS), 58 rue de Monceau, 75008 Paris, France (SIREN 101 157 931). Contact: contact@clarentia.com
2. What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small file stored on your device (computer, phone, tablet) when you visit a website. Other technologies, such as the browser's local storage, work in a similar way. In this policy, "cookies" refers to all of these trackers.
3. Strictly necessary cookies (no consent required)
These cookies are essential for the website and platform to work. They do not require your consent and cannot be disabled from the banner.
- Login and security: keep you signed in and secure your account. Duration: the session or a limited period.
- Language (
NEXT_LOCALEcookie): remember your display language. - Platform preferences (browser local storage): keep your display settings and ensure your workspace works properly.
- Your cookie choice (
clarentia_consentcookie): remember whether you accepted or declined analytics, so we do not ask you again. Duration: 6 months.
4. Analytics cookies (with your consent)
Only with your consent, we use Google Analytics to measure site traffic (pages viewed, visit duration, where visitors come from) and improve the site. These statistics are not used to show you advertising.
- Cookies set:
_gaand_ga_MKLHDCHK00. - Provider: Google Ireland Limited (Ireland). Data may be transferred to Google LLC in the United States. These transfers are covered by the European Commission's adequacy decision on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
- Cookie lifetime: 13 months maximum.
- No Google Analytics cookie is set until you accept. If you decline, the site works normally.
5. How to make your choice
On your first visit, a banner lets you accept or decline analytics. Your choice is kept for 6 months; after that, the banner will be shown again. You can change your mind at any time using the "Manage cookies" link at the bottom of every page. If you withdraw your consent, Google Analytics cookies are deleted and analytics stops.
You can also set your browser to block or delete cookies. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may, however, prevent the site from working properly.
6. External services
When you book a demo, you are redirected to a scheduling page hosted by Google (Google Calendar). That page is subject to Google's own cookie rules.
7. Your rights
To learn more about how we process your personal data and about your rights, please read our Privacy Policy. You can contact us at contact@clarentia.com and lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the CNIL (www.cnil.fr).
8. Changes to this policy
This policy may change, in particular if we start using new cookies. Any new cookie requiring consent will only be set after you agree. The version in force is the one published on this page.
